• 1912: The company is founded by Zafeirios Missikos, a Greek from Egypt and father of Michael Missikos, who starts producing wine and distilling spirits.
• 1939 - 1944: World War II halts any production.
• 1945: After the end of the war, Zafeirios Missikos imported the first alcoholic beverages from Italy.
• 1951: Michael Missikos, son of the founder, joins the business.
• 1966: First imports from Danisco, William Grant's and Disaronno.
• 1976 - 1983: The company enters into a franchise agreement with Coca Cola, 7UP, and Tuborg.
The production of their products begins in a privately-owned factory in Rhodes.
• 1996: Michael Missikos's daughter, Paraskevi Missikou and his son-in-law becomes part of the business.
• 1998: Establishment of a private owned bonded warehouse.
• 2004: The loss of Michael Missikos.
• 2007: M.Z. MISSIKOS undertakes the exclusive distribution for the products of AMVYX SA for the southern Dodecanese.
• 2007: The son of Paraskevi Missikou, Emmanuel Zannis, joins the company.
• 2014: Emmanuel Zannis takes over as General Manager.
• 2018: Creation of a unique Cash & Carry store dedicated to spirits and beverages on a 285m2 floor space.
• 2019: Collaboration with La Martiniquaise company of France for the exclusive distribution and representation of Gibson's Dry Gin and Gibson's Pink Gin.
• 2019: Collaboration with Caldirola company of Italy for the exclusive distribution and representation of wine based products.
• 2020: Collaboration with Zografakis Distillery of Crete for the exclusive distribution and represantation of their products on the Dodecanese islands.
• Today: M. Z. MISSIKOS continues it' s leadership in Rhodes by importing, representing and supplying spirits, beer, wine and beverages.
